Aston High Wooden Garden Planter

Each of the posts has slots routered onto two sides for the match boards to slide into. The match boards are 4 inches wide and have a thickness of 22mm. On the inside of the planter, we have built a reinforced frame made out of 2×2-inch timber. This helps to support the planter when full as the weight can force the boards to bend without a frame. Around the top of the planter, we have built a capping made of 4×1 inch timber.
